Position: Manager Finance: Finance and Administration -(F&A) – Patterson Grading (D4)

Job purpose

Reporting to the Director: Finance and Administration, this middle-management position is responsible for developing, controlling and supervising a dedicated financial accounting and reporting function that ensures the accurate and timeous processing of all financial transactions of the Commission.

The role oversees the integrity of day-to-day financial operations, the preparation of reliable financial statements, sound internal control practices, and compliance with applicable financial standards and regulatory requirements. It further ensures effective planning and management of capital and operational budgets, coordination of budgeting and variance reporting processes, and optimization of cash flows within approved parameters.

The incumbent also manages and oversees procurement and administrative support functions, including cleaning, transport and security services, and provides financial advice, analysis and recommendations that enhance the overall effectiveness of the finance function.
