NaCC's Five-year Integrated Strategic Business Plan 2020-2025

Dear Stakeholders,

It is a great honour to present to you, our esteemed stakeholders, the Namibian Competition Commissions’ five-year Integrated Strategic Business Plan (“ISBP”) for the period 2020-2025. The logical framework approach was used to develop the strategy. This is the third strategic plan produced by the Namibian Competition Commission since its inception. A review of the implementation of the previous strategy (2015-2020) was conducted to take stock before developing the new strategy. The outcome of the review provided useful insights and contributed to the formulation of the 2020-2025 strategy.

Key Findings of the Franchising Study

 The Commission conducted a study into the franchising industry.

Commercial Poultry Meat Industry Cross-country Research

The competition authorities of Namibia, Botswana, South and Zambia conducted research  into the poultry sector to ascertain the importance of this sector in self-sustainance and employment creation, as well as investigate costing structures, collusive conduct and entry barriers, amongst others.

The Commission is delighted to kick-start its first newsletter for the year 2025 after having gone through various changes in its operations and making deep footprints in implementing its mandate an have a significant impact in enforcing competition regulation in Namibia.
